Advanced Praise

Steven Gaydos

“Mentors, advisors, consultants, instructors: who wants to spend time with one who’s a drag? Which is why I was so relieved when Jeff Cohen wrote a book. A guy I knew as fast on his feet, fun, smart and engaging had decided to pass along some of what he’s learned in the Hollywood trenches from being a young actor to a top attorney and savvy dealmaker. I knew it wouldn’t be a dreary dry tome and thankfully, it’s just the opposite.”

Steven Gaydos, Vice President, Executive Editor, Variety

“Not only has Jeff been an amazing attorney, helping guide me through the labyrinth that is the business of Hollywood but now he gave me the gift of The Dealmaker’s Ten Commandments. His amazing business acumen is a lesson for anyone trying to improve their skills in the art of dealmaking.”

Terry City, Vice President, BuzzFeed

“I have worked with a most talented young Jeff as an actor and adult Jeff as an attorney. He has distinguished himself as one of the most respected dealmakers in our industry. The methodology he has developed with The Dealmaker’s Ten Commandments is invaluable for any professional who wants to make an impact in their chosen field.”

Richard Donner, Director/Producer

“In Hollywood it’s all about the ‘art of the deal,’ and with that said, there is no greater artist in the entertainment industry than Jeff Cohen…Not only does Jeff know the steps, he created most of them!”
